The Christmas Season at St. Josephs is always very special. In the cozy halls of our Senior Home, Christmas arrives like a cherished old friend, bringing with it a flurry of joy and nostalgia. Our mission? To weave a tapestry of holiday cheer that warms every heart, young and old.

Our Senior home transforms into a festive wonderland. The entrance, bedecked with wreaths and twinkling lights, welcomes visitors with open arms. Holding and cradling baby Jesus brings such comfort and tenderness to everyone.

Singing Christmas carols brings joy to all and we get to sing our favorite songs. The nativity scenes with the manger and the Holy Family gives us a deep sense of the true meaning of Christmas. The decorating of the Christmas tree always brings us great happiness as the many different ornaments are placed on the tree. The air buzzes with anticipation as our seniors gather to adorn the Christmas tree. Each resident, like a seasoned artist, adds their personal touch—unique ornaments that tell stories of yesteryears. The tree, now a vibrant scrapbook of memories, stands tall, its branches cradling laughter, love, and shared moments. We watch as twinkling lights dance, casting a warm glow on everyone’s faces. It’s more than decoration; it’s a testament to resilience and the beauty of the residents’ collective creations.

These decorations aren’t mere embellishments; they’re bridges to shared experiences, connecting hearts across generations. There is added enjoyment from wearing Santa hats and reindeer antlers. The red and green colors are everywhere! Many visitors arrive during the Christmas season. There are children who take delight in all the festivities. Choirs from our schools and various bands come to St. Josephs too. We even had our dear Sister playing the violin so beautifully. In this cozy corner of St. Josephs, Christmas isn’t just a day; it’s a symphony of memories, played anew each year, connecting us all in the warmth of shared traditions.  This is truly a favorite time for all us.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
