There between 2 walls, with windows, sits an empty space between the Assisted Living and the Nursing Home until, one day, the Sisters decide this space has the potential to bring some beauty into the lives of their residents. Inspiration hits and it is full speed ahead, and the creation of the “Garden of Angels” begins. A garden to be created in the memory of past, present, and future residents.
The space was a blank canvas just begging for beauty, and when the hearts and minds of the Sisters became inspired there was no stopping the transformation. A true heartfelt labor of love working together to create this special place. Looking at the pictures of the Sisters’ smiles while transforming this space put smiles on the face of the observer.
Thanks to the Sisters and their creative minds the residents will have a beautiful garden to observe through their windows, lifting their spirits knowing the angels are close by looking after them.

A note from our Sisters:
We would be remiss if we did not recognize the talent of Mr. David Gruca who dedicated his time to build the garden. Thanks to him, and his tools, everything looks so beautiful and will be safe.
We also cannot forget about our dear Sister Dorota, who came to us for a few weeks from Poland. Sister is a very talented educated professional artist who helped us in creating our “Garden of Angels.” Sister Dorota even painted our beautiful angels.
We feel truly blessed to have been surrounded by so much talent in order to make our dream a reality.
To quote Camille Pissaro, “Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.”
We were planning the big opening of the Garden of Angels for today, March 25th, the feast of the Annunciation, but the weather did not permit us to go forward. It is way too chilly to take our dear Residents outside so we will have to wait for a little more sunshine!
We will keep you updated and when the big day arrives, we will release the blog depicting the photo session of our Residents with the Angels.
God Bless
