  • St. Joseph’s Senior Home is a lovely place to spend your retirement years. The nuns are lovely, the food is excellent, and the home is quiet. It is truly the best place to spend your retirement years.

  • Our mom, Irene has been living here at St. Joseph’s Senior Home for almost two years now. We have been so very happy with the care and love she has been given. Most importantly, she is happy. The Sisters treat her as if she was a part of their family – and now, she is. We Thank God for St. Joseph’s Senior Home.

  • I was a chaplain for fourteen years but now I am a resident in St. Joseph’s Assisted Living Home. There are many residents living here and multiple personnel that serve us! When my provincial, I belong to the Salesians Congregation, comes to visit me he says “How different this home is from others! You do not experience any stench! Residents are happy and always smiling!” We have Mass every day, one for residents in the nursing home and another for residents in the assisted living home. All those who
wish can participate in the Mass and we accept other prayers. Nobody is forced to come! We have a very rich recreational program in which our facility holds every day. Specialists conduct different exercises. Nothing is ever boring! You do not meet sad people. Even those who approach their last day are accompanied by sisters, priests, members of their family, and other people important to the resident. Every day I thank God for being here. I have the opportunity to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament whenever I want.

  • Making a decision to put a loved one in an assisted living facility is extremely stressful and emotional, to say the least. Finding the best facility is even more so. St Joseph's Senior Home has been a Godsend for me, my family, and of course my mother. St Joseph's staff is exceptionally caring, attentive and loving. You will never find a more compassionate, professional and heartfelt nursing team than at St. Joseph's. Being a nurse myself one can imagine how high my expectations for excellence can be. St Joseph Senior Home is just that EXCELLENT You will not be disappointed with putting your loved one at St Joseph's. Thank you, St. Joseph's

  • Our mother became a resident at St. Joseph’s Senior Assisted Living in December 2017 at the age of 99. The care she has received at St. Joseph’s since that time has contributed to a marked improvement in both her mental and physical health. The staff at St. Joseph’s couldn’t be more friendly and helpful both to the residents and visiting family members. I would heartily recommend St. Joseph’s Senior Assisted living to any family which is need of elder care, to ensure your peace of mind that your loved ones are being well provided for.

  • My name is James Clark Jr. and I have been a resident at St. Joseph’s for one and a half years. I am very pleased with the care and services that I have been given. The sisters and lay staff have been loving, considerate, and caring caretakers. They are all up to the latest in theory and practical application in the staff’s respective field. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean and well kept. I have been given a chance to exercise my spirituality by almost daily attendance at Mass.

  • My aunt Esther has been a resident at St. Joseph’s Senior Home for 6 years. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate St. Joseph’s a 10. The staff are wonderful and always very pleasant. The nurses are very professional and very pleasant. The place is kept spotless which is a big factor of being a resident. Clean, pleasant staff, professional nurses, and a very friendly atmosphere at all times. We checked out many places and found St. Joseph’s Senior
Home to be superior and top notch. I would recommend St. Joseph’s senior home to anyone looking for a permanent residence here!

  • The sisters with the help of their kind and compassionate medical staff are a combination of infectious laughter, huge defenders of the patients integrity, advocates for the rights and care of our seniors, social events planners who are constantly finding fun crafts and decorations for the patients to create, all of which fills each day if the resident chooses to participate. The sisters and staff of St. Joseph’s not only made the lives of their residents better. They also have given us, the family members such a sense of security and peace and we thank God for them each and every day for what they do so naturally and from the heart.

  • I have nothing but good things to say about St. Joseph’s. We never have to worry; everyone takes such good care of her. And in only 3 months this place has become home to her – on her return from a night in the hospital she said: “I’m so glad to be home.” You have exceeded any expectations I had.

  • I found it to be very easy to get to know so many people. I like to talk to people who do not talk and then will start talking to me! After several weeks you find yourself greeting so many people who are happy to give back a smile or few words. The food here is very good and you have a choice of two soups and a different food if you are allergic to one. If you’d like – say – a slice of cheese and you ask for it, they would give it to you. You can ask for 1 or 2 slices of bread they have several kinds. There are shows now and then with music etc. which are very enjoyable. There is bingo 3x a week! Oh! There is mass every day here in the small church. You can go every day, or whenever you are able to attend Holy Mass and it is always 10 am. All of the sisters are very nice they try to make you feel “wanted” and “helped.” There are other enjoyable games also and exercises you can walk around whenever you need to, or just to get some exercise.

  • We know, beyond a doubt, that Mom is safe, well cared for, content, and says she is "at home" when referring to St. Joseph's. The Administration, Nurses and absolutely wonderful staff truly know each resident as well as their families. We never feel like "visitors" when seeing Mom. It's as if we are "at home" with her when we are at St. Joseph's. It is truly a miracle that we found St. Joseph's Senior Home. It has changed all our lives for the better, giving Mom dignity, independence according to her ability, and professional care 24/7. It is a blessing that our family can rest easy knowing that we have found the best place possible for her physical, cognitive and spiritual needs

  • I am here for 13 years. I love being here very much with such beautiful sisters, priests, and residents. They really take good care of us. I work in the gift shop and I’m also a lead singer. I have a very beautiful room and roommate. Love all the holy days and holidays, with pictures hanging in all the rooms and hallways. I pray every day for all the residents and myself.

  • I have been a resident here at St. Joe’s assisted living since February of 2016 I have 3 sons, and when my cardiologist told them that I could not live alone, it was my choice to come to St. Joe’s. All 3 of my sons live out of state: Maine, Missouri, and North Carolina. St. Joe’s gives me what I need daily; Holy Mass, Chaplet of Mercy, and the Rosary. However, the chapel is open all day and I am free to visit with Jesus whenever I want! The devoted Sisters are loving, caring, and a pleasure to be with. I must also say the nurses and the aids every one of them is here to help in any way one of us residents needs them! I made the right choice to be here!

  • Our Mom has been at St. Joseph’s for almost 7 years. We couldn’t be happier with her care. The staff has been professional, kind and helpful. They take care of our mom as though she was family. There are activities and entertainment to keep her busy and she loves the food. We can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that she is well taken care of, here at St. Joseph’s. Thank you!

  • Have you ever been so fearful that you can’t think straight? That is how I felt when my children could not give me the needed care. I tried two other facilities but did not feel what I was looking for “Home away from home.” I was very unhappy, my son took me to St. Joe’s I had no choice I had to go to St. Joe’s. At first, it was a very slow process but gradually my heart opened up to love it. It took a while but there is nothing more I can ask for. First of all, God, the nuns, nurses, and the aids, take such good care of me I couldn’t ask for any more; I feel I have a second family. I can pray, laugh, love and hope to do so for the rest of my life. I have been able to count my blessings over and over again.

  • St. Joseph’s Senior Home is a warm, caring and cheerful place for your family member to live. The care our mom has received in the almost six years she has been here providing her family with the peace of mind we felt we needed at a time when she could no longer live independently. She will turn 98 years young this fall and is still enjoying life. We are looking forward to her 100th birthday celebration surrounded by her family here at “St. Joes.” Her favorite activity is the monthly visits from the local librarian. She loves to read.

  • My name is Ms. Annette Kociolek, and I am a resident at St. Joseph’s Home and a believer of its mission. For the last 7 months, I am very happy to have been placed here. I wish to mention that this home is ideal for seniors both of genders to receive this “home assisted care.” The Sisters in charge are the greatest personnel with their kind respective manner and attitude towards the residents. In addition, we have a great number of young ladies who offer their time to work with the residents. We also have the right to contact with regular doctor or dentist. I wish to mention that I have not seen such beautiful decorations of the premises anywhere else that I have visited. What is more, I am glad we have a beautiful chapel on the premises to attend Holy Mass every day if we so desire including Sundays and holidays. Our families and friends have the privilege of visiting us whenever they can. Our birthdays are celebrated with a party every month and there are also activities such as musical performance to entertain resident and we enjoy bingo three times a week.

  • St. Joseph gives us the information and support that we needed to provide our Mom with the environment and care that she needs as she continues to age. Placing our Mom at St. Joseph’s was and continues to be the right and best decision for her. We all visit whenever we can and are always welcome to participate in any activities. Finally, we all sleep better at night knowing that she is receiving the attention and care that she deserves after raising and caring for her family.

  • St. Joseph’s Senior Home is a quiet welcoming place to live. The sisters keep everything clean and neat and on target. Decorations are always in season and really perk up the environment. Residents are well cared for and the staff members are always pleasant, attentive and caring. Activities keep everyone going whether its music, games, bingo, entertainment, exercise, special activities or guests. St. Joseph’s is well cared for by all who work here whether it’s the sisters, nurses, those who take care of the home or patients, replacement, therapist, and CNAs, laundry employees and maintenance. St.Joseph’s is a caring comfortable place to live.

  • Besides being a top tier professional Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Home, I have found Saint Joseph Senior Home to be an extraordinary Catholic home. Of course, attendance at the Church is voluntary. However, it is my opinion and of great importance to me especially in my present age and health bracket, that these key religious matters have become absolutely vital. Therefore, being able to participate in these simple but most important facts is paramount. A complete Chapel with a resident Priest where joint daily Prayers, Holy Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Daily Mass, Exposition of the Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation are actually put at my fingertips. I can’t imagine a better arrangement!

  • After the death of my husband I lived alone for 6 long years. In 2019 I fell in my home and decided I would be unable to live alone anymore. After receiving medical rehabilitation attention at SAINT JOSEPH SENIOR HOME, I decided to stay for good. I felt that this is where I want to spend the rest of my life. I really feel that It was like The Good Lord guided me to St. Joseph's. The thing that attracted me most is Chapel in the building. I enjoy the fact that I can go to the Chapel and pray, I don’t have to go outside or take a bus. It is very convenient.  Sisters are genuinely friendly. Staff is exceptional. They are kind, friendly and helpful, they make you feel that they really want you. To me this is very important. Environment is spectacular. Place is spotlessly clean. Activities are interesting and you can pick out and do what you like. Overall, I can say, “There is no place like St. Joseph's
    Home".
